Returns & Exchanges
Customer satisfaction is our goal at myTypewriter.com. If there is a problem with your order, please notify us by email immediately so that we may work with you to arrange a return, replacement, refund, or credit. Full refunds (less shipping fees) will be issued if merchandise is returned in its original condition within 30 days of receipt of your order(Custom jewelry and special order items are non-refundable). Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit, and check payments will receive a refund check.
If you're exchanging an item because of a mistake on the part of myTypewriter.com or issues of quality, we will pay the shipping cost to send a replacement item to you. The replacement order will be sent via Standard Delivery.
Please be aware that typewriters are highly susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely so be sure to retain the original packing materials for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip. We must receive goods in its original condition to fully credit you for the return or exchange. We cannot accept collect deliveries. Please be sure to obtain a delivery tracking # and insure your items as we are not responsible any damaged or loss items.
Please allow 5 business days for receipt and processing of your return. Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit, and check payments will receive a refund check. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing.
We must receive goods in new condition to fully credit you for the return or exchange. All return shipping must be prepaid by buyers and we cannot accept collect deliveries.
- Before you make a return, you will need to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) by contacting us via email first.
- Once you receive our return confirmation email, please return your package within the next 3 business days.
- Please use the shipping address as indicated in your return authorization email.
Changes to Orders
