Olympia SF Portable Typewriter (c.1960s)
Item Number: OM-P0F1
Olympia power in a portable. The SF was a well-built compact-size portable ideal for traveling. Although moderately "spendy" by 1965 standards at $69.50, it was evidently worth it and designed to compete with the cute Hermes Baby/Rocket machines. In addition to the conventional pica and elite type, this model often can be found in script or cursive type, which made it desirable for personal and social corresponding.
